The Kiwanis Club of Beverly presented a check for $1,200 to Dolly McIlvaine and Heidi Hebert for the JT Van Go Fund. The monies were raised through the sale of tickets to a recent performance of Miss Saigon at the North Shore Music Theatre. JT Van Go was established to fund a wheelchair van for Jackson and Tyler, the sons of Heidi and Paul Hebert. The boys have a complex profile of unique neurological disorders that will require ongoing care and assistance. As an expression of thanks, Dolly, one of the fund's creators, and Heidi presented a JT Van Go hat to David Malloy, North Shore Music Theatre Director of Sales, Kiwanis President Dean Porteous, and function co-chairs, Jack O'Keefe and John Maihos. Hats are usually available for a $10 contribution to JT VCan Go. Beverly Kiwanis is celebrating their 70th year of community service in Beverly, Hamilton and Wenham.
