The Kiwanis Club of Beverly is holding a canned food drive to benefit panties in Beverly, Hamilton and Wenham. The collection point is the office of Beverly Depot Chiropractic, 142 Rantoul Street, Beverly. Donations will be accepted weekdays from 9 am to noon until Tuesday December 18.
The Food Drive is in addition to the club's recent $300 contribution to Beverly Bootstraps and compliments their Community Dinner program. The major emphasis of the club is "Young Children Priority One" and according to President Dean Porteous, the canned food drive is expected to help feed the needy youth of the area.
