Acapulco's Restaurant - The Kiwanis Club of Beverly has moved their meeting location to Acapulco's Mexican Family Restaurant. For the last few years, the club met at the Beverly Golf & Tennis club, and officially moved to the Cummings Center in January. Club members are enjoying a mix of Mexian food and traditional American fare.

Bicycle Safety Rodeo - The Kiwanis Club of Beverly, in conjunction witht he Beverly Police Department Safety Officers, conducted a Bicycle Safety Rodeo as part of Beverly Homecoming Week.

10th Annual Golf Tournament - It was a beautiful day at Beverly Golf & Tennis Club for the Kiwanis 10th Annual Golf Tournament to support local scholarships and other worthwhile community projects.

of Beverly, in conjunction with National Education Association’s (NEA)
“Read Across America” program, recently held a Community Children’s Book
Drive and a “Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast.”

Robert G. Lucas was recognized by President ,Dean Porteous. Lucas, a member of Kiwanis since 1953, and with 24 years of
perfect attendance, was chairman of club administration for 2001-2002.
Bob is also a Legion of Honor recipient and has Life Member Status in Kiwanis International.
He and his wife, Marilyn, now live in Essex.

Community Beautification Project - Kiwanis members cleaned up the land next to the Wine Cellar. Mulch was spread, and flowers planted, as part of their community service projects.
